The aim of Unheard Creative is to support organisations to reach audiences who may find it difficult to engage with a professional. Our work in the past has included collaborating with professionals working with looked after children and care leavers, and other vulnerable young adults who feel their voice is often unheard.
Coming from a care experienced background, we are able to understand and relate to the challenges children and young people often have when navigating the care system. Growing up, we felt at times that our voices did not reach the decision makers involved or in charge of our care.
Forming Unheard Creative, we want to empower organisations working children and young people to reposition their services and communications to ensure the voices of those who may have grown up feeling unheard are able to actively support positive changes to the services they are using.
Our main aim is to support organisations with creating co-produced and engaging content for the children and young people they are supporting to help improve engagement between professionals and those they are working with.
